3 Skills We Love About Our Web Design Admins

For most businesses, including Utah Marketers, we could not imagine a day without our administrative professionals. In recognition of April’s Administrative Professionals Week, we’d like to acknowledge the admin professionals of the world.

Around the 1950s, administrative positions boomed with the economy after World War II. It was the idea of Mary Barrett, President of the National Secretaries Association, now called IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals), and C. King Woodbridge, President of Dictaphone Corporation to create a National Secretaries Week. The goal was to honor individuals in the field and to encourage more people to pursue careers in the secretarial industry. Over the decades, what started as a day of recognition evolved into the week-long recognition that we observe today.

Here are three traits of the admin professionals and assistants at our Utah web design company that we couldn’t do without.

1. Copywriting

Copywriting is the art of creating or writing contents, ads, promotional phrases for fliers, or any literary forms that are intended to promote a product or a service. What good is a website if the on-page copywriting doesn’t illustrate to readers why the business behind the website is so great?

Behind the scenes there is so much that goes into launching a website; registering a domain name to setting up hosting, loading files, creating a database, and more. No matter the size of a website, these are must-have skill sets to get any website launched.

3. Customer Satisfaction

Every business owner knows exactly how important customers are to their business. Without them, how would the company thrive? How could they sustain? The right administrative staff keeps in constant communication with a business’s customers to maintain satisfaction and deliver more than what was expected of them.
